Anyone interested in the later life housing sector will want to log onto “The Housing LIN Summit 2023 – A Festival of Ideas” which takes place from 27 February through to 3 March, and brings together leading figures from across the housing, health, social care and technology industries.
This year’s summit offers ten free online sessions throughout the week that will draw out “the art of the possible” to inspire you when planning, designing and/or developing HAPPI and TAPPI-influenced housing for our ageing population.
With calls for a National Older People’s Housing Task Force and the Adult Social Care Reform White Paper promising funding to support housing transformation, this Summit has something for everyone. If you commission, manage or develop specialist/supported housing, you’re invited to hear from influential leaders, policy makers and residents to explore what makes the right conditions for inward investment opportunities to age well, live well and stay well.
The opening session at The Housing LIN Conference will welcome Tony Watts OBE, writer and founder of the newly-revived Age Action Alliance, who is one of the panel on Monday, 27 February at 10am in a session chaired by Louise Drew, Partner and Head of Building Communities at Shakespeare Martineau solicitors, titled: Last time movers and shakers: Market shaping older people’s housing.
